February 20, 2011

Our Guest Speaker this Sunday, February 20th will be Dr. Gord Oeste.

CONNECTing after ReGroup

Thank you to everyone who participated in our ReGroup experience this past January. It was exciting to see so many Highviewers eager to spend these four weeks together, recapturing the heart of what it means to live in community and connect in small groups again.

Now that ReGroup is done, we want you to know that the small group experience is continuing at Highview, and that you are invited! From now until May or June of 2011, four groups will be meeting together throughout the week. Every one of them has opened their doors and left a chair empty for you.

Please feel free to contact any one of the Leaders to ask about how you might CONNECT with them and the people who are gathering in community on those evenings. There are sign up sheets posted on the Community Board upstairs.

If you have any other questions about how to CONNECT at Highview, please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Ruth Anne at rabreithaupt@buildingbiggerhearts.ca or 519-745-4211 ex 22.

Join and/or support Cam Ogilvie on February 26th in the Coldest Night of the Year, a 10 km fundraising walk in support of the hungry, homeless and hurting.

By walking and collecting pledges together, they will explore the chill and challenges of living on the streets in winter, while raising much-needed money for our charitable partners who serve and engage the homeless communities so well.
